Seems like the Copeland Headquarters have people calling asking to Pray with them that Kenny gets elected. This happened to a lady in Neosho yesterday. By the way, she hung up on the caller.
What's next Kenny.....???

Perfect wording Scutter!!!!!!!!!
They ought to be praying Ken doesn't go to jail.....
I am just dumbfounded at the tactics and lies being used by Doerge and now Ken is stooping to this....
What happened to their confidence?

They probably had best be praying that the IRS does not revolk that church's tax exempt status for engaging in political activity.

Forget the election Ken Copeland, you and Ron Doerge both had best start praying to stay out of jail!
I really don't think Copeland has a chance to win the Tuesday election. He should drop out of the race now while he still has a shred of dignity left.

If Ken did win, I would like to see him stripped of the election and they have a Special Election...Talk about an embarassment for both KC and RD...that would be justice....

If Copeland should win, I remind you all of his vow to get even with us. You know, that is a two way street and I somehow have a feeling that Ken Copeland will spend the next four years under a microscope. We just ain't going to have another Doerge type in this Sheriff's Office.

I'm ready for what ever it takes to insure that doesn't happen AGAIN.....sounds like he's taken courses from Doerge on how to make threats...well we will see about that...

Actually we really need to pray for Copeland, because I have heard he "doesn't even have a prayer". All kidding aside, at the bean feed tonight at the Muncipal Auditorium, Ken was a sad sort, sitting by himself while he ate. He never did mingle much and RD never showed his face. Now, this was a Republican function and you would think they would be fawning all over their candidate, but Langland was out and about in the crowd visiting and he was not sitting alone. Ken, you might be able to redeem yourself a little (if you win) by putting Langland on staff and ditching RD.

We know that, and have a great deal more respect for him because he didn't quit when the going got tough. He did not need that job for the money, because he has been offered positions within the community. You see, he is not afraid of RD, RD is afraid of what will happen if Mike actually pursues any litigation. RD knows that Mike has sought the advise of attorney's, and they are not from around here. I believe Mike Langland enjoys a good "scrapping"

Tincan...it's to late for Ken to ditch RD...as they shook hands on the deal for Copeland to keep Doerge on board...and if Copeland renigs on his side of the deal...Doerge will cause big waves...that's just how he is...
But again...as both stated in the papers...they NEVER discussed anything about Ken keeping Ronnie on board as an Advisor.."What's Wrong With This Picture".....

First I can't imagine why Doerge never showed his face at the bean feed....Could it be he (Doerge) thinks he's had "enough" (because he did state in the paper...enough is enough) publicity lately and didn't need to be seen in public...or just maybe he was to embarassed and knows that people now realize just what a lier and piece of garbage he really is...
Second, as for Ken sitting all alone (I'm teary eyes here and sniffling at this moment, sorry...lol...) and not being included in any activity with others should tell him he made a grave mistake at the very beginning including Doerge in his campaign...and now it came back and bit him square in the butt...bet also he got an indication on how Tuesday will turn out...
And to Mike Langland...Way to go Mike....

Hey just had a thought on why RD wasn't at the bean feed...Maybe he was to busy at home writting his "memoirs"...because what I understand, he didn't even come into the SO yesterday...but Ron don't finish that final chapter just yet...

but I don't think it was ever Copeland's campaign but was always Doerge's campaign for Copeland. It seems to me all the ads run were Doerge on the camera and Copeland in the background. I think that the issue of whether Ron Doerge ends up as a "paid advisor" to the Sheriff's Office is academic at this point, but rather, Ron Doerge needs a Deputy Sheriff's Commission and he knows he will only get that from Copeland.

Now WHY on earth would Ron want a Deputies Commission..what a reduction in Authority that would be ( sort of like a demotion) .....Go from Sheriff to a Plain OLD deputy..OR could it be that he needs a commission for "Protection"..?? H'mmmm...Never thought of it that way...but then again...Why would he need one for Protection...He HASN'T done ANYTHING WRONG....

So Doerge left Ken all alone to face the public at the bean feed? Now that doesn't sound very loyal to me. When the going gets tough Doerge gets gone........

Obvious facts: ( only if Copeland wins)
RD is too young to collect Medicare so he will have to stay on in the department as an employee to keep the county paid health insurance, then in 4 years he will eligible for Medicare.
Coincidence. I think not!
Then at the January 01, 2005, RD will officially retire and start collecting his retirement, and he will also be placed on the payroll, which means he is collecting his pension and a paycheck from the county.
Now, Copeland and RD said they never agreed to RD having a position as an "advisor", but what stops Copeland from simply making him an employee? The only thing is...Copeland will have to justify the salary to the Commissioners.
There is nothing wrong retiring from one business, collecting a pension and then going to work for another company for an additional wage. Military personnel do this all of the time...it is just how unethical all the manipulations are, and that makes me nauseated.

It definitely is ironic and not coincidental that the "4 years" ending is at the same time he can have medicare. I think the appropiate place for RD "is in the jail" working where he puts everyone else that crosses him. Talk about a DEMOTION.....:woot: Exactly one of the many things he deserves!

This is true. It happens in the military, law enforcement and other governmental agencies all the time. It's called "Double Dipping". They justify it politically...oh excuse me...with manipulations that are unethical as you stated. This is called "dirty politics" and it's wrong. It's what makes politics look so bad and why good people don't get involved!
