Remember that 84 Lumber just closed it's doors here because of a saturated market Daisy, so I have my doubts that Lowes would be considering a move here.

Lowes has built stores in Republic, and Monett. Neosho is probably to close to those locations for this rumour to be true. I'd like to know what happened to Lou Amato? He worked for Wal-Mart for a very long time, and all the sudden he is fired.

Lou got the shaft is what happened. Office polotics at work again. He was a good man and a great manager.

We'll never know the personnel matters surrounding the dismissal of Lou.
I would not be surprised if Walmart moved and Lowe's set up residence in Neosho. There is a Lowe's in Bella Vista, AR and then one in Joplin, so Lowe's may very well find a home at the midway point ( somewhat). After all, Neosho will soon feel the beginnings of a building upsurge and Walmart does have a vested interest in Lowe's.
Would this make the 4th move for Walmart since it has been in Neosho?
I can count four moves....the old plaza by the old KFC, the boulevard, then south of town, the 4th move is IF they move out west. Does this sound right cause I'm really not absolutely sure of #1....

You are correct. Store #17 opened on Harmony Street Plaza in the early 60's. Then moved to S Neosho Blvd then to 60 & 71. If they move W on 86 it will be a drastic change of direction for them.
They have been a part of Neosho for 45 or so years. Hard to believe, isn't it.

I was told by a Walmart employee that Lou "outed" a gay employee during a meeting. He was fired the next day. My friend was at the meeting.
Just so you know

Boy he had best watch himself. Next thing you know there will be reports of a flaming pink plastic flamingo burning on his front lawn.

THIS IS JUST ONE MORE PERSON SCREWED BY WAL-MART?

A thinking person would realize that there is no long term job security at WalMart Befair. The problem is when you need a job, you need a job, and do not really think about the long term consequences but rather focus on the fact that with a job you can pay the rent.
