That is both Mark Mitchell's solution and excuse for the poor showing that the Neosho High School, Neosho Middle School and Central School made by failing the standardized performance tests recently administered in mathematics and communications. In one way, I do know where Mark is going with this, as test results cannot be manipulated to fit the current "excuse of the day" unless you call into question the applied standards, and I do believe that Mark knows this result does indeed put his job in jeopardy if he cannot find some way to excuse the poor performance. However, Mark take heart, the good citizens of Neosho will overlook your poor performance in academic pursuits as long as you give them a winning football team.
