“I've told MoDOT before, and I'm saying now, that if we're going to build this (road) we're going to build it to our specs - not to theirs,” Black said. “We'll build a typical county road. But when they (MoDOT) get into it, I'm sure (the road design) is going to call for a lot different base structure and all kinds of things like they design for a state road. We're just not going to do that.” Black said an initial perusal of the plans by Glover did, in fact, reveal they were of “higher design criteria” than typical county construction specifications.
Apparently the standards set forth in the current design for Rhonda Ln are too high for this here county. Higher design criteria than typical for this county---Hell No!!
