I just wanna say, I'm so glad we got a break from the heat with the rain and cooler temps today!:D

I'm ready for fall!

I second that emotion! I hate summer! I hate getting in and out of a hot car. I hate taking a shower and feeling like a sweat hog the minute I walk out the door. I hate the headaches I get from the heat. I hate having every weekend tied up with yard mowing. I hate the bugs and mosquitoes. I could go on and on ... did I mention that I hate summer?

Come on fall! Jacket weather, crisp air, bonfires, wood stove, ... I don't even mind the winter with the exception of the ice storms that we've had the past two years.

Even with all the things I hate about summer, the beauty of the seasonal changes are enough to stick around for. So thanks, but no thanks, I think I'll bypass your strong suggestion to move to Alaska and stay right where I am and just complain about the summer.

It gets hot in Alaska too. Plus, they have mosquitos about the size of beagles, so I hear.

I second that, Poptart.

This little bit of hot-humid aside, hardly any state in the country compares more favorably weather-wise than SWMO.
