Our resident idiot in Jefferson City does it again.

It would appear that Bob Holden is dumber than a mud fence. He had to learn the hard way not to spend a million dollars of state money to celebrate his election and not to use the state airplanes like personal toys. Now, in the face of claiming huge budget woes and cuts in all kinds of state programs, including education, this guy turns around and obligates the state for 4.6 million dollars for the purpose of allowing state employees another, non-obligated holiday. This guy has got to be the dumbest politician in the state or else he expects all of the state workers to vote for him in November. Either way, I certainly have had my fill of that guy.

I just found out that Holden did this same thing during the Thanksgiving Holiday. That means the number is 9.2 million dollars spent in a time of fiscal crisis for something the state had absolutely no obligation to do. Wonder what would happen if all the taxpayers demanded paid holidays from the State?

He has submitted a budget which includes five hundred million dollars in "increased tax revenues" which have not and are likely not to be enacted by the Legislature or the voters. I guess this is his method to allow him to with hold more money from state programs in another attempt to blackmail the people of the state to increase taxes. It really is time to get this joke out of that office.
