So explain this to me.. They've started work on the community building expecting money from the insurance company that we haven't gotten. No contract was mentioned so no guarantees on getting the work done and the mayors' son works for this company. Interesting huh?

I suppose they can just cash in more CDs until the city is completely broke. There was a reason why the building wasn't renovated before. The Mayor and Hopper ran for election promising it would be renovated. Now they want people to see them do something "good" for the city.

I wonder if they got bids on it? My guess would be no.

U guys can come get Neosho’s old community building. At one time we called it the auditorium. With the carpet and signage it can double as a whore house, gambling hall and saloon.

Take the church next door and you will have a “one stop shop!”

Yes, they took bids on the community center. The mayor didn't even vote on it.
