It is confirmed that FBI Agents detailed to work the Twin Towers site stole from that site. The problem is that the FBI, which would have arrested and prosecuted any ordinary citizen who stole from the site, did not take any disciplinary action against these agents. I guess it just reinforces the idea that if you are going to steal, it is better to be wearing a badge when you do it.

It varied Lexi, the thing that set it off was an etched crystal globe worth quite a good deal of money. While I am sure that some of it was merely taken as mementos of the disaster, it is still not something you expect an Agent to do. Any normal person would have been charged with theft from a grave site and gone to jail for quite some time. Looting is looting, regardless of the degree.

Well the Feeble Bunch of Idiots hasn't changed much from the days of the cross-dressing Idiot in Charge. They have managed now to add to their distinguished record of illegal wiretap, illegal files on people Edgar did not approve of (imagine that flamer not approving of somebody), Ruby Ridge, Waco, the William Jewel affair, tainted evidence from their labratory and false arrest, not to mention their failures in the Oklahoma City bombing and the September eleventh disaster. Now they are looking to get their hands the records of anyone protesting Bush and his war and even the medical records of any woman having a partial birth abortion. I really think it is time to let this group go away because they are worse than the criminals they profess to protect us from.
