Went to evil-mart recently; there's one in the mensroom that is pretty good.
Strange place to put it.

Here's a picture I have of Edgewood - provided I did everything right to attach the image!

I want the One, where, Me and Bob, are trying to get the Boss's Yellow Buick Wagon, out of the Grease Pit, out back.

When I was a little kid, I always wanted to live there.

You know Poptart, I had the same thoughts about living there when they first built it. It was indeed a beautiful store front. Back then I also wanted to live on the Square too. It seems the theatre had a smoking room with a large picture window which gave out a great view of the square back in the day when then people were actually going there. In short, the Square was the center of the Neosho Universe back then and it was where everything was happening.

We have spent to much money to try to return it to those years and it will never be done. What our memories hold and reality now are two different things. As much as we would like we can not return to the positive memories of our past. We must make new ones, not only for ourselves but for our kids, who will look back and reflect on their memories. What kind are we leaving them?

Well if my Children are any indication David, the memories will not be good enough to ever bring them back to Neosho. They are part of the many, many kids who grew up here who want absolutely no part of this place. Even when they do make it home, they spend their time in Joplin, Tulsa or Fayetteville.

Wow, this is a cool building! Where was this drive in located at? As a relative newcomer to Neosho (25 years!) I don't remember ever seeing it.....

It was south of Edgewood Bowl right about where Lowes is. Believe me, it is missed by us old timers. Not an unpleasant evening, popping a grocery bag ( the large, paper kind) full of popcorn and heading out to watch a movie under the stars.
